Changes to grass cutting services on some of our estates

As part of our plans to both reduce our carbon footprint and boost the biodiversity of our green spaces , we are going to be changing the number of cuts.

We have identified key areas across our estates in Leeds where we will be leaving areas of grass to grow into meadow land and we’ll be sowing wildflower seeds.

We’ll be starting a pilot project in May 2025 where we will be leaving these small areas of grass to grow throughout the summer, rather than cutting them.
