54North in Bloom gardening competition 2025

Our popular gardening competition is back and we can’t wait to see your photos.

Calling all green-fingered customers, it's time to showcase your garden! Whether you cultivated a cosy oasis for yourself or have a smaller area preferring hanging baskets or balcony flowers or have created a collaborative garden with your neighbours, these awards are for you.

There are four categories you can enter:

Best Garden
Best Baskets
Best Collaborative Garden (with your neighbours or with a group)
Best Overall Winner

The competition closes at 11:59PM Friday 29 August 2025.

How the garden awards work

You can enter as many categories as you like.

Just email us a photo of your garden that you would like to enter and the category you are entering. Please also tell us why your garden should win. For example, give us all the details on why you've entered your garden for this category - it might be a sanctuary for you and your family or friends or it might be because you have a small area and hanging baskets attract wildlife birds and butterflies into the area you live or it might be because you and your neighbours all work together to make the area you live in a great place to live.

Our customer experience committee will judge all entries.

The prizes

All winners will receive a glass award with the winning category and your name etched on the award, along with a garden voucher of £100.

Prize giving will take place in September and awards will be handed out by Mark Pearson, Chief Executive of 54North Homes and your housing officer.

We may use your garden pictures on our social media pages, in our annual report and in our Customer Bulletin. Please let us know if you do not wish your garden to be published.
