We're supporting West Yorkshire Safeguarding Week

This week, we are supporting West Yorkshire Safeguarding Week which runs until Friday. This is an opportunity to celebrate and share good practice, raise public awareness about abuse and neglect, and learn more about safeguarding related topics.

During the week and throughout the West Yorkshire region, there will be free training and learning events for people to help raise awareness of abuse and neglect.

You can also attend one of the talks to help you learn about keeping safe from abuse. The talks are free and available Monday to Friday and will cover:

• what abuse is and how it can happen
• people who are more at risk of it happening to them
• who might cause abuse and where it can happen
• how to get help to be safe
