Yorkshire In Bloom

Our much‑loved In Bloom gardening awards are back for 2026, a competition open to all 54North Homes customers. 

Whether you’re nurturing a thriving garden, brightening up a balcony with hanging baskets, or helping to maintain a shared community space, there’s a category for everyone. You don’t need a large garden to take part – just a bit of care, creativity and pride in your outdoor space. 

All entries will be judged and the awards celebrate the many ways customers bring colour and life to the places they live, whether that’s their own patch or a space shared with neighbours. 

Competition categories (you can enter one or more of the following): 

• Best vegetable patch 

• Mini garden in a seed tray 

• Best sustainable, eco-friendly outdoor area 

• Best sunflower entries 

• Best hanging baskets 

How to enter: 

Taking part is simple. Just click the button below and upload your photos of your garden or outdoor space when it’s looking its best.

Key dates: 

Closing date for entries: End of July 2026 

Judging: First week of August 2026 

Prize giving: September 2026 

Prizes:

For the Sunflower category, three winners will be selected and the prize is one £50 voucher per household. For the other categories, the prize is one £100 voucher for first prize winners in each category, with a £50 voucher for second prize. Maximum one winner per household.
