Welcoming our new managing director

We’re pleased to announce that Jonathan Fletcher has been appointed as our Interim Managing Director.

Jonathan brings over 13 years of experience within the wider Karbon Group and its predecessor organisations.

He’s successfully led Karbon’s Property Services, a group of more than 500 colleagues responsible for:

• Responsive repairs
• Empty homes refurbishments
• Grounds maintenance
• Planned investment
• Heating servicing
• Electrical testing
• Fire and building safety

In addition, Jonathan oversees Karbon Solutions Limited, which delivers services to partner housing associations across Cumbria, Lancashire, as well as the North East.

Speaking about his appointment, Jonanthan said: “I’m delighted to take on this position and lead such a dedicated team. My focus will be on maintaining the high standards our customers expect and deserve, supporting our colleagues and driving forward the great work already underway within 54North Homes and the wider Karbon Group.”

Andy Gamble, Chair of 54North Homes Board added: “We are pleased to welcome Jonathan to the 54North leadership team. His extensive experience and proven expertise give our board full confidence that he is ideally positioned to ensure continuity and provide strong support for 54North.”

Jonathan takes up the role from January 2026.
